It is important to remember that Miranda's psychometry experiences are much more intense in The Dread House than she would normally experience. Like what we see happen to Lorraine Warren in the Conjuring movies. Intense, vivid, brings her to her knees (that already happened once right before she met Crystina), makes her nose bleed, stuff like that. It is how I'm going to bridge the gap between what's in a room and what's in there after midnight. In some cases, Miranda will be able to sense what non-psychic people would only witness after midnight.
