Attacker... 2d6 + weapon skill = attack VS Target... 2d6 + combat = defense (Later on, I'll include weapon attack and damage modifiers and armor modifiers.)
Missed attacks should be creative - blocks, dodges, counter attacks(?)
Successful attack 1d6 damage, which does not subtract from a total but clarifies, for narrative purpose, what kind of damage was dealt.
