Traveller Dread House RPG Toons

Role play points

Relics, priests, blessings, curses, in-game gods

Eric play a priest? he could ad lib ritualistic stuff - take the real thing and amplify - a prayer for safe travels exaggerated to a actual protection spell - a prayer for healing becomes an actual healing spell - but he'd be able to improv details about candles, incense, signs, annointments, prayers, etc.. - and he'd know a logical inventory and or, eh, maybe he could be persuaded to have it as a secondary character?

I'm reminded of Brother Maynard and company, guardians of the sacred objects, brings out The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and knows the Scriptures that describe the instructions for use.

Create Medieval Fantasy characters - max two per player (for now)

We need souls that can be used in bodies in different time periods?

Medieval hand crossbow becomes pistol, large bow becomes sniper rifle, armor becomes vest, water bag becomes flask, etc.. (Twinners)

Or maybe this is dumb.

battles sometimes won't last more than one player's turn

one fighter takes point, slays a typical beastie in a turn or two, especially with two fighters the others stand back and only get involved when needed - with bosses, for instance

THEREFORE THEY NEEDN'T RUN TWO CHARS EACH

And therefore Eric and Terra needn't have combat characters if they don't want to - healer or, uhhhm, what else? Thief? (I'd allow a steal that's disguised as an attack - or his turn is an ) Maybe do a geomancer type who has all the powers of any amulet we can think of. So, what might we call that? Manipulation of matter? Meh. Too broad. Maybe forces of nature? Or just a guy. A wimp that has special skill set. I really don't want another supernatural character.
